Great news - Sen. Debbie Mayfield and Rep. Ralph Massullo, M.D., have refiled the bait-and-switch bills for consideration in the upcoming 2018 Legislative Session! We’re so grateful to our sponsors for their continued support. You might recall that the bill passed the full Senate during the 2017 Session, but the House bill stalled after passing out of the Health Innovation Subcommittee. We’re proud to welcome the Aimed Alliance as the newest member of Floridians for Reliable Health Coverage, now 40 members strong! The Aimed Alliance works to improve access to quality health care in the United States. Aimed Alliance achieves its mission by conducting legal research and analysis to advance its policy priorities, educating and empowering health care consumers, promoting health care issue awareness, improving patient access to innovative treatments and technologies, and advocating for the rights of health care consumers and providers. Aimed Alliance builds coalitions of like-minded individuals, nonprofits, and commercial organizations to promote sound health care policy and practices across numerous sectors, including health care practitioners, business, and government.

Also, if your organization is planning a Capitol Day in Tallahassee, could you kindly let me know? I’d like to provide updated handouts for your legislative visit packets.
